The current Eatblue.com
site was launched in the Spring of 2006 by two freshmen students at the
University of Michigan, Matthew Lerner and Nick Farinella. After observing the
frustration of students campus wide regarding a lack of organization and
options with food ordering, the two brainstormed to figure out a way to remedy
this problem. What resulted was an interactive, user friendly data base which
includes menus, phone numbers, addresses, and hours of operations for Ann Arbor's
favorite eateries.
Through hard work,
extensive research, data composition, and a partnership with YNot Advertising,
Matt and Nick were able to make their dream a reality. In 2002, YNot
Advertising purchased certain assets of Ugrub.com, including the URL
"Eatblue.com" from class of 2004 University of Michigan graduates
Jake Cohen, Scott Meves and Adam Linkner, and Clint Wallace. With the launch of the current
Eatblue site, students, faculty, and Ann Arbor residents breathed a collective
sigh of relief as their eating woes were brought to an end.
Today the website is operated by College Advertising
Solutions and managed locally by student managers. Our local student managers
work hard to provide the best customer service of any business in Ann Arbor as
well as provide their peers with the most up to date content. We hope you
enjoy using the website and if you ever have any questions or comments please
don't hesitate to contact us.
